Your use of the Youth Sport Award does not impose any responsibility or liability on us - we merely provide a service and the eplatform for your convenience.

Your signing up for a user account for the Youth Sport Award is deemed to form your acceptance to be bound by these Terms and other terms or guidelines which shall be deemed incorporated by name or reference.
If you cannot accept the Terms or any other rules, guidelines or policies as may be imposed on you as a user of the Youth Sport Award, you must immediately stop using the Youth Sport Award eplatform.

What is the Youth Sport Award?
The Youth Sport Award is an online award scheme which has been developed by the Youth Sport Trust. For more information please see the about the award webpage: http://youthsportaward.org/award/. A licence allows the user (school/organisation) and any of its nominated representatives (teachers/staff and pupils/young people) individual, password-protected logins with different degrees of access.
The Youth Sport Award is owned by the Youth Sport Trust, its founding partner is Loughborough University.
Using the Youth Sport Award
You may use Youth Sport Award only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. When you sign up for the award you must provide us with accurate and complete information as required for the successful use of the site. If you act on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you hereby accept that you act as the legal entity and you warrant that you represent and may legally bind the legal entity and that you are authorised to grant all licences provided in these Terms.
These Terms will also apply to all upgraded versions of the site.
Subject to these Terms, we hereby grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and freely revocable licence to use the Youth Sport Award as we provide it and other related services found on our Website.
You are not allowed to sell or in other ways commercially distribute content made by the use of the Youth Sport Award unless you acquire an explicit licence to do so. A licence is also required to commercially, directly or indirectly, print any content created or made by the use of the Youth Sport Award, unless for internal reporting purposes. If you choose, or are provided with, a user-identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
Limitation of our liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to our site or any content on it, whether express or implied.
We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

If you are a consumer user, please note that we only provide our site for domestic and private use. You agree not to use our site for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
Submission of content and grant of licence to the Youth Sport Award
By submitting content to the Youth Sport Award, you undertake to be responsible for all such content, including its legality. By submitting content, you warrant that the content is yours or that you have the right to use it and grant us the rights as set out in these Terms.
By submitting content, including your name/username/avatar to the Website, you thus thereby grant Youth Sport Trust a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free and fully paid limited licence right (including the right to sub-license) to exercise any and all copyright, you or your licensor have in the content, in any media and through any platform and application known now or in the future (excludes personal details). The granted licence includes the right to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, distribute and translate such content through Youth Sport Award and our related services, hereunder to make the content available to other users of Youth Sport Trust, all in relation to the provision of the services included in Youth Sport Award now or in the future.
Indemnification of Youth Sport Award
By accepting the Terms, you accept to indemnify and hold harmless the Youth Sport Trust, including any officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries and employees, from any claim or demand, including reasonable lawyers’ fees, made by any third party, including public authorities, due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
All content and information on the Website and eplatform (including, but not limited to, data, information, text, reputation, reviews, icons or any other material, logos, trademarks and designs), and the infrastructure used to provide services, is proprietary to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other relevant laws. We or our licensors hold all rights, title and interests in the Youth Sport Award and its content and you are only granted rights of use as specified in these Terms. Any use of robots, spiders, scrapers or any other automated means to access the Website and/or to collect data from the Website, for whatever purpose, is strictly prohibited.
The access to and the use of the Youth Sport Award does not give you any right to copy, transmit, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, distribute or redistribute, publicly display/ publish or in any other ways exploit any content or information, trademarks, logos or any Youth Sport Award service or tool obtained from or through the Website or App unless explicitly permitted by these Terms.
If you are a consumer, please note that these Terms, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
If you are a business, these Terms, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. You and we both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
